Bush‑hammering concrete floors – durable, non‑slip & decorative finish
Bush‑hammering concrete is a proven method of mechanical treatment of concrete, reinforced concrete and stone surfaces. This process increases adhesion, improves non‑slip safety and can provide an attractive decorative finish.
What is bush‑hammering?
Bush‑hammering is a surface roughening technique using special tools called BUSH HAMMER (B‑HAMMER) mounted on planetary or single‑head grinders. The texture depth achieved depends on the tool type, the number and shape of tungsten carbide pins, as well as the machine’s weight and RPM.
Bush‑hammering can be performed on both new and existing concrete surfaces, as well as on natural stone and cement screeds.
Applications of bush‑hammering:
- Providing roughness for resin systems, adhesives and waterproofing
- Creating non‑slip surfaces in halls, garages, terraces and stairs
- Removing old adhesives – cement and polymer types
- Leveling concrete and screeds – an alternative to milling and shot blasting
- Decorative architectural finishing of concrete and stone
- Lowering surface levels
