Concrete floor grinding can be done in various ways. One of these methods is the so-called heavy grinding, i.e. treating the floor with heavy machines. Heavy machines have many advantages - thanks to the high pressure, they can cope with all kinds of work on concrete and stone floors.

The L32 series heavy grinding machines with a working diameter of 812 mm are available in various versions. The basic version of such machine (Lavina L32EU) is an electrically powered walk-behind machine that perfectly copes with grinding, polishing, stripping, bush hammering and honing. It is equipped with a great deal of work aids, such as a phone holder, rotation control of the planetary system and heads, integrated weights, a wet water pump or a phone charger. However, due to its great weight, it is hard to work with - you need an employee with great physical strength and extensive experience to keep the machine on the right track when the working heads are moving machine which weights over 600 kg, especially on old and uneven concrete. An additional difficulty worth mentioning is its transportation. 

An alternative is a remote-controlled machine (Lavina L32 REU). The remote control changes the perception of the operation of this machine and increases efficiency. The machine operator does not have to support it with the strength of his own muscles and sometimes "wrestle" with it. The worker stands at a distance from the machine and only controls its operation. The remote control combines ease of use with ergonomic work. Most of the functions of the machine are operated with buttons on the remote control. Another advantage is that we can move the machine or even drive it off the ramp without routing the cable and connecting to the network.

Of course, the price difference is noticeable and the mentioned amenities cost money. Everyone has to recalculate whether the machine in the basic version is sufficient or whether the version with a remote control suits the nature of the work better.
