Grinding and polishing of marble and granite can be done using the Lavina Floor technology. The technology of grinding and polishing stone differs from that of grinding or polishing concrete. We always grind the stone with Lavina planetary machines and we polish it wet, using diamond tools for marble or granite. Marble is a soft stone that needs to crystallize (harden the surface) during grinding and polishing. Granite has different hardness classes. Therefore, the selection of grinding and polishing technology as well as the selection of polishing powders, gels and impregnates depends on the selected regeneration system. Renovation and crystallization of the stone allows to give a new perfect appearance and new functional properties of the surface.
