Sanding edges and places difficult to access for large concrete grinders require the use of an angle grinder and appropriately selected tools for hand grinders. Diamond discs for concrete grinding, also known as cup wheels, enable grinding hard-to-reach places and edges on any concrete floor. After sanding, the floor may require honing and polishing, which can also be done with hand machine tools. Copper disks will do an excellent job for this type of work, whether it is dry or wet. Composite discs are typical high gloss polishing tools that can also be used with hand held sanders.
